This notice explains how the June Mockups online generator processes files, account information and technical data. It supplements the general June Mockups privacy policy for the shop.
1. Controller and contact
The controller is JuneMockups. Full provider information is available in the Legal Notice.
Postal address: JuneMockups, Postfach 910505, 30425 Hannover, Germany
Email: hey@junestudio.de
2. Scope of this notice
This notice applies to the online poster mockup generator at app.junemockups.com. For the June Mockups shop, purchases, payments and other storefront functions, the general privacy policy also applies.
3. What we process and why
4. How artwork is processed
- Your browser prepares large images and PDF page 1 before upload where possible.
- The prepared file is transferred over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
- Our server places the artwork into the selected mockup in working memory.
- The preview or download is returned to your browser.
- The application does not place uploaded artwork or generated files into a permanent media library, customer gallery or persistent file storage.
We do not use uploaded artwork for advertising or AI training and do not sell it. Hosting providers may temporarily handle request data and technical logs as necessary to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service. Therefore we do not claim that media “never leaves your computer.”
5. Legal bases
We process artwork, account information and credits to provide the service you request and to perform or prepare our contract with you (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). We process limited technical and security information to keep the app reliable, prevent abuse and diagnose faults (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Our legitimate interests are the secure and efficient operation of the service. Where processing is required by law, Article 6(1)(c) GDPR applies.
Technically necessary cookies are used only where required for login, security and the requested service. If we add optional analytics, marketing or advertising technologies in the future, we will obtain consent where required before using them.
6. Service providers and international transfers
Vercel
The generator is hosted by Vercel Inc. Vercel processes requests, uploaded files and technical data on our behalf to deliver the app and run the temporary renderer. See the Vercel Privacy Notice and Data Processing Addendum.
Shopify
Shopify provides customer accounts, authentication, order processing and the customer record connected to your credit balance. See the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy.
These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers are protected by an applicable adequacy decision, participation in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Retention
- Uploaded artwork and generated files: only for the time needed to complete the current request; no persistent storage by the June Mockups application.
- Authentication cookies: until logout, expiry or deletion by the user. A limited-duration refresh session may remain active for up to 30 days.
- Account and credit information: for as long as the customer account is active or the information is required to provide the service.
- Order, tax and accounting records: for applicable statutory retention periods, even if an account-deletion request is made.
- Technical logs: only for the period required by the configured hosting plan for operation, security and fault diagnosis.
8. Your rights
Depending on the applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability or object to certain processing. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.
To make a privacy or account-deletion request, email hey@junestudio.de. The account panel in the generator can prepare a deletion request for you. Records that must be retained by law cannot be erased early.
9. Your responsibility for uploaded content
Please upload only files that you are entitled to use. If artwork contains personal data or images of other people, you are responsible for having an appropriate legal basis or permission for that use.
10. Changes
We may update this notice when the generator, service providers or legal requirements change. The current version is published on this page.
